Product vision is a long-term view of what you want to achieve with your product. It is your product’s reason for being and should guide all of your product decisions.
A product vision should be:
-Inspiring: It should get everyone on your team excited about working on the product.
-Focused: It should be clear and concise. Everyone should be able to understand it and it should be easy to remember.
-Flexible: It should be flexible enough to adapt as your product and your business change over time.
- achievable: It should be ambitious but achievable. You should be able to measure whether or not you’ve achieved your product vision.
Here are some examples of product vision statements:
-“To make life easier for busy families by providing a one-stop shop for all their needs.”
-“To be the go-to source for information on XYZ.”
-“To help people stay connected with the people and things they care about most.”
-“To make it easy for people to find and book the perfect vacation rental.”
-“To help businesses harness the power of data to make better decisions.”
